Board meeting minutes May 21, 2018

In attendance: Carol Deglmann, David Fish, Don Fry, Jeanne Lowe, Katie Manning, Kim Zurflieh, Lee Morrison, Rick McMullin

Meeting started at 7:05 p.m.

The broken water faucet at Pavilion Park was repaired and is working once again.

The new playground equipment was installed at Hidden Park.  Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with this project.

Three trees had to be removed from Hidden Park because of safety issues.  The redwood has been trimmed in an effort to save it.

The tanbark was installed in Hidden Park around the various playground equipment.  Thanks to all the volunteers who helped. 

Discussion of the nonprofit status of the PBCA.  Pennsylvania recognizes our status, but the IRS still is dragging their feet concerning our status.  This could have implications on whether the PBCA has to pay tax or not on the money the PBCA received from the county for the land that was taken from Front Park as part of the new bridge construction.

Summer picnic is August 25, 2018, at Pavilion Park.  Volunteers are needed.
