Board meeting minutes January 9, 2017

Meeting started at 7:00 p.m.
Minutes for December 2015 meeting were accepted. Will be posted on line.
Discussion of when to distribute doorknob hangers. The hangers will go out first before a newsletter to alert residents it was time to pay the annual membership dues. An email will go out as a secondary reminder to residents about dues and to provide a link to pay electronically. These notices will be followed up with the dues letter only to residents who did not respond. This will save Pine Brook money in printing and mailing.
Discussion of text for door hanger. Final message was approved and door hangers were ordered online.
Discussion of cleaning up email listserv. Wayne is trying to eliminate old email addresses on the PBCA listserv. This will help in communicating with residents.
Discussion of including a notice to residents for a letter describing the neighborhood they can use when they are selling their house. This would be available for download on the Pine Brook website. This could add value to the home sale price by listing the activities of interest in the neighborhood.

April 2, 2016 – Weeding/spraying at Pavilion Park and Front Park 11:00 a.m.
April 7 – Friday evening Mulch day and party at Hidden Park 5 - 8pm Saturday as rain date 8. (PREEN the next day)
April 8 – mulch day at Pavilion Park and Front Park
May 5, May 6 – Spring Yard sale
August 25 – Annual meeting letter mailed.
August 26 – bike parade (3:00 p.m.) Tentative date for Summer Picnic
August 26 – Neighborhood Picnic (Beginning at 3:00 p.m.) Tentative date
October 2 – Annual Meeting. Election of board, Secretary and treasurer
October 6, 7 – Fall yard sale
October 28 – Pumpkin Patch at Pavilion Park
November 27??? - Operation Ho-Ho & Caroling – at Pavilion. 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Dec 24 – Neighborhood luminaries
Discussion of the bridge repairs. Wayne will reach out to find out what the plans are to fix the guardrail.
